I love designing and creating luxury wedding stationery. There are hundreds of designs out there to choose from, from good to not so good and OMG I have to have those. OMG is what I aim for. What you see and what you want are not always the same. That's why finding a professional wedding stationer that can turn your dreams into reality is essential. You've heard it many times before but it's true, your wedding invitation will give your family and friends their first glimpse into your special day and what to expect.

I'm often asked - when do we send our wedding invitations? There is no hard and fast rule but we recommend about 12-16 weeks before your wedding date. Sooner if you haven't sent out save the date cards. If you have a lot of family and friends that will need to book travel and accommodation and arrange time off work sending your invitation out sooner rather than later will be greatly appreciated. Believe me nobody will forget about your wedding because you sent your invitations out to early. While it can be fun to visualise your creative side with card colours, damask images, beautiful satin ribbon and pearl or crystal embellishments, you don't want to get over creative with communicating the information. The key is to remember to legibly communicate with an easy to read font style the "who" "what" "where" and "when". It is really important to carefully check the text is correct and as you would like to see it printed before you approve it. Once you approve there is no going back without an additional charge. We recommend you ask someone to double check it for you. We advise reading it from start to finish and then finish to start.

Your invitations are ready to be sent. It is important to check your guests postal addresses are correct. We live in a world of emailing and texting and often forget to update our address books. No bride want's their university friends to be patiently waiting for their invites that have been delivered to an old address. Believe me this happens.

Being a designer and creator of luxury wedding stationery I love romance and sparkle. Louise and Philip were planning their winter wedding and wanted snowflakes and sparkle. They chose to celebrate their marriage at a romantic luxury hotel in Hereford with a winter wedding theme. The hotel was an exceptional wedding venue for an exceptional wedding day. Of all the aspects of planning a wedding are important but choosing the venue will be one of the most significant decisions you make for you and your guests.

Louise had chosen her colour scheme but wanted to keep it a surprise until their wedding day. She wanted to tease her family and friends with a glimpse of what to expect but at this stage not reveal all. Both Louise and Philip waned to include snowflakes as they had met in Austria on a skiing holiday and Philip proposed to Louise Christmas 2016. Winter snowflake wedding invitations was key. Louise and Philip fell in love with our Eve design and we set to work on the invitation style, font styles and embellishments. Also at this stage Louise and Philip were a bit unsure who to invite and not to invite. This is common dilemma with bride and grooms to be. Do we invite cousins we haven’t seen in years... do we invite work colleagues to the day... do we invite children??? This list of questions goes on and on, it’s not really for me to answer but I do recommend ordering a few extra invitations just in case if you do change your mind or you have missed someone off your guest list by mistake, this way you are ready and stress free with a few spares.

The day itself arrived and all of Louise and Philip's family and friends that they wanted to attend were there to share and celebrate their special day. The extra invitations were needed and the advice was appreciated. The Peachy Impressions team and I always feel really honoured when couples email us photos and share stories about their day and we love sharing with you.

Lucy and Simon set the tone of their 1930’s retro themed wedding with pastel colours and retro glamour. It most certainly was unique with an unforgettable edge. They chose a romantic rustic style barn in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and filled it with dusky pink roses, music and vintage retro style decorations... Nothing says retro more than flowery cupcakes and there were plenty. The amazing photographer captured all. Lucy said finding the perfect venue was key. Love and laughter surrounded them throughout the day.

Lucy and Simon chose our Lucinda design for their wedding invitations. They loved the fact that each invitation was beautiful handmade with love. Each invitation was personalised for each couple/family which made life so much easier... quick, stress free and no mistakes. Their guests commented on the design, style, quality and finish. Lucy was delighted to share with us that many of her family and friends had said that it was the best wedding invitation they had ever received and will treasure it forever. We love feedback like this and it makes me very happy. For the day itself Lucy and Simon chose matching on the day wedding stationery to complement their venue décor. Lucy was a bit undecided at first to what on the day wedding stationery she needed. She knew she didn’t need an order of service as this wasn’t going to be a church wedding. She did however want some fun wedding stationery that complemented the day. Lucy opted for our medium sized package which included a wedding post box and wedding guest book. Lucy said the personalised post box was admired by all and we have some thoughtful, kind and humorous messages in our guest book from our family and friends which we will treasure forever.

Why not treat your wedding guests to some retro style wedding favours like love beads or a custom-made CD of your favourite classic rock or love songs or a linen handkerchief for retro wedding theme...? oh and make sure there is enough cupcakes for your guests to take home to enjoy later :)
