Vintage Wedding Theme

Sarah and James planned their romantic vintage themed wedding in a beautiful castle in Gloucestershire. Their wedding day was filled with love, family and friends, and to say their special day was perfect would be an understatement. Sarah had always dreamt of a vintage wedding. The couple considered every detail and both the bride and groom looked amazing. Sarah looked beautiful in her long wedding dress and veil, both finished with vintage lace and pearls. James looked handsome in his tuxedo with a vintage vest and velvet bowtie. The bridesmaids wore long black vintage dresses which perfectly complemented the vintage theme. Every detail was considered. The venue was filled with flowers and candles. The weather was crisp so the roaring fire in the centre of the room was welcoming and perfect for a winter wedding. The day was most definitely filled with romance. We had the pleasure of designing Sarah and James’s handmade wedding stationery. Sarah chose our Serenity design from our vintage wedding stationery collection which complemented her wedding theme and colour scheme perfectly. Sarah chose our wallet style invitation as she wanted to include lots of information for their guests. For the day itself Sarah and James chose a large wedding table plan, table names, breakfast menus and guest place names cards. A wedding table plan is a definite. Most venues will ask you for a seating plan but it doesn’t mean you can’t opt for a more relaxed feel and let your family and friends sit where they like – just as long as they know the table they’re sat on, you’ll be fine. Sarah and James opted for a more formal plan with tables named after favourite cities they had visited and guest place name cards to match.
It was a pleasure to work with Sarah and James and we wish them every happiness in their new adventure as husband and wife.
