Christmas Wedding Theme

Christmas is a magical time to marry. Caroline and Jason are getting married on 22nd December 2018 and not surprisingly they’re very excited and a little nervous. I met with the happy couple today to finalise their on the day wedding stationery requirements and a wedding planning update (my favourite bit). I’m very pleased to share with you all is going to plan and stress levels are low.
Caroline and Jason are getting married in Bristol. They met in Bristol while studding at university and have been together 6 years. Both had always envisaged a winter Christmas themed wedding with Christmas trees, tumbling ivy, a roaring fireplace and candles everywhere. Their dream is about to come true.
Caroline and Jason are having a traditional church marriage with a choir, soloist and organist. They have chosen a mixture of traditional hymns and Christmas carols. Jason’s sister and Caroline’s best friend will be reading from Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres. Before heading to the wedding venue, they have arranged for caterers to serve mulled wine and warm canapes in the church while their photographer capturers the memories. Caroline and Jason have also hired a drone pilot to capture truly spectacular aerial wedding photographs... fingers crossed it doesn’t rain.
Their wedding venue is situated in Bristol city centre. They will be serving their guests champagne on arrival and they have chosen a wedding breakfast feast of wild boar and guinea fowl terrine to start, followed by slow cooked roast pork. For dessert they have chosen rich chocolate cheesecake with raspberries. Sounds delicious. To create a glowing ambience the tables will be decorated with white candle centre pieces which will be decorated with a beautiful array of ivy trails and white roses. A string quartet will play live classical music in the background – this couple really do know how to make a lasting impression. They have kept the colour scheme very simple with very simple shades of whites, greys and greens. Their wedding venue stationery consisting of a table plan, table names, menu cards and name cards will complement the venue décor perfectly. They have also opted for a matching wedding guest book for their guests to leave their advice messages and best wishes.
They plan to party well into the night with a live band, caricaturist and show-stopping fireworks. Exciting times ahead, may their years be filled with love, happiness and fun. As always, we apricate the privilege of sharing and supporting them through this exciting time.
